Lifelong resident of Medford, January 11, 2018. Beloved son of the late Martin Lord, Jr. and Christina (Uzzell). Dear brother of the late Paula Hiltz and her husband Vincent. Devoted uncle of Karen Laskey and her husband Peter of Stow, and Kim Hardy and her husband Alec of NC. Cherished great uncle of Mark and Christina Laskey and Ryan and Sean Hardy. Marty loved his family and had a passion for singing and writing. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. A Memorial Service will be held from the First Community United Methodist Church, 55 Otis St, Medford, on Tuesday at 11:30am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martin’s memory to First Community Methodist Church where Marty was a lifelong devoted member.
